The state will fund 80-85% of the project cost, with the central government expected to contribute the remaining amount. A feasibility study has been completed, and the central government has given its approval. Additionally, the Cabinet has approved a 65-acre tree park on NGEF land for ₹11 crore, providing a green space for East Bengaluru. The Cabinet also approved the construction of a ₹23 crore statue of Goddess Bhuvaneshwari, representing Karnataka's land, language, and culture.

Mysuru Road aur Kanakapura Road se ho kar Outer Ring Road ke saath (32.15 km), aur Hosahalli ko Kadabugere se connect karegi, Magadi Road se ho kar (12.5 km). Is expansion ka aim Bengaluru mein traffic congestion ko kam karna hai. State government project cost ka 80-85% fund karega, aur centre se remaining cost aane ki ummeed hai. Feasibility study complete ho chuka hai, aur centre ne Phase 3 ko approval de diya hai. Iske saath hi, Cabinet ne NGEF land par ₹11 crore ka 65-acre tree park bhi approve kiya hai, jo ki East Bengaluru ko green space provide karega.
