Track work began in August 2023, with the final U-girder being installed in October 2023. The start of comprehensive trials will depend on the activation of the line's Third Rail, followed by tests on telecommunication, signaling, and train control systems. With upcoming Lok Sabha elections, the Gujarat Government is expected to formally celebrate the initiation of trial runs.

August 2023 me is stretch pe track work shuru hua, jiske baad October 2023 me Ranjit Buildcon ne final U-girder install kiya. Comprehensive trial runs shuru hone se pehle GMRC ko line ke Third Rail ko activate karna padega, jiske baad woh telecommunication, signalling aur train control systems pe tests karenge, aur trains ke behaviour ka assessment karenge. Aane waale Lok Sabha elections ke saath, Gujarat Government se yeh ummeed ki ja rahi hai ki woh trial runs shuru hone ki formal event organise karega.
