The retired branch president of AIRF, SL. Pathak, and the branch secretary stated that if the central government doesn't announce the reinstatement of the old pension scheme soon, they would block railway tracks under the federation's leadership. The hunger strike was concluded by the divisional traffic manager, Abhishek Vishal, by providing juice to the protesters. The event was presided over by the retired AIRF member, Shyam Lal Pathak.
