The Delhi government has released Rs 150 crore towards the construction of the Delhi-Alwar and Delhi-Panipat Regional Rapid Rail Transit System (RRTS) corridors, following a Supreme Court order. Court instructed Delhi to adhere to a predetermined payment schedule for these projects, warning of financial repercussions for default. The NCRTC, responsible for implementing the RRTS project, had complained about Delhi's delayed payments of Rs 100 crore for the Delhi-Alwar corridor and Rs 50 crore for the Delhi-Panipat corridor for the fiscal year 2023-24. As per the NCRTC's details, Delhi is obligated to pay a total of Rs 5,704 crore over six years in pre-decided annual instalments for both corridors, ending in 2028-29. The RRTS, a new rail-based system designed for high speeds, aims to decongest roads and reduce pollution in Delhi by connecting the Capital to its surrounding towns. Despite the project's objectives, the Delhi government has refused to provide financial support for the Delhi-Alwar and Delhi-Panipat RRTS corridors, according to a written reply in Rajya Sabha on 13 March 2023. The project, a collaboration between the center, states, and multilateral institutions, requires each state to contribute proportionally to the infrastructure being built within their territory.

Supreme Court ke order ke baad, Delhi government ne Delhi-Alwar aur Delhi-Panipat Regional Rapid Rail Transit System (RRTS) corridors ke construction ke liye Rs 150 crore release kiya hai. Court ke order ke baad hua hai, jismein Delhi ko in projects ke liye predetermined payment schedule follow karne ka order diya gaya tha, aur default ki situation mein financial repercussions ki warning bhi di gayi thi. RRTS project ko implement karne wali NCRTC ne Delhi ke taraf se Delhi-Alwar corridor ke liye Rs 100 crore aur Delhi-Panipat corridor ke liye Rs 50 crore ke payment mein delay ki complaint ki thi. NCRTC ke details ke according, Delhi ko dono corridors ke liye next six years mein pre-decided annual installments mein total Rs 5,704 crore pay karna padega, jiska last payment 2028-29 mein hoga. RRTS, a high speed rail system, Delhi ke roads ko decongest karne aur pollution ko reduce karne ka aim rakta hai, aur isse Capital ko uske surrounding towns se connect kiya jaayega. Is project ke aims ke bawajood, Delhi government ne Rajya Sabha mein 13 March 2023 ko diye gaye written reply mein Delhi-Alwar aur Delhi-Panipat RRTS corridors ke liye financial support provide karne se mana kar diya hai. Ye project, center, states aur multilateral institutions ke collaboration se bana hai, aur har state ko apne territory mein banne wale infrastructure ke proportion mein contribution karna padega.
