Right. Unless CLT is linked directly to Nilambur, no use for Malabar. (Only a small portion will get benefit-Nilambur side).
It is difficult to get clearance as it need to go through forests. The TLY-MYS does not have much forest, or can deviate little to avoid it.

The government dont have right strategy. they should link TLY and Mananthawadi first. That will complete the ghat which is inside KL. The link from Mananthawadi to MYS is not having reserve forest, max it will be 2 to 3 KMs.
