Some time back, CR test charged the entire section with AC power in midnight. One of our friends on IRI too had put a grievance in PG Portal about inordinate delay in the DC-AC conversion, on which the authorities had replied that they have already test-charged the section & only CRS approval is pending. As per that official, apart from CRS approval, nothing is pending in conversion process. I am wondering how was all that done / claimed without getting rid of those 2 RoBs?

This is wrong, The work is pending due to the delay in commissioning of 2 bombardier rakes
Once they are commissioned on WR then WR will tranafer 2 rakes to CR for conversion...

Similar situation occur in Dindugal-Madurai Electrification in SR.CRS strictly informed that the good old FOB from Madurai Junction concourse to all the platform should be removed due to heigt restriction and passenger unsafe.After this FOB closed for the passenger ,CRS gives his permission to operate passenger services through the Madurai Junction.
So first try to close the traffic permanently in the 2 ROB and informed to the CRS for DC to AC Conversion for his consent.
