Pichhle kuchh saalon mein, capital expenditure financing mein GBS ka hissa tezi se badha hai, jaise ki EBR mein girvaat aayi hai. The demand also includes a call for improved train maintenance facilities in Coimbatore, given its significant revenue contribution. This is vital for introducing new train services. Additionally, the restoration of overnight train services to Bengaluru, Thoothukudi, Rameswaram, Sengottai, and Madurai is being requested. Increased frequency for direct trains from Coimbatore to Delhi, Jabalpur, Dhanbad, and Tirunelveli, as well as new train services to Patna, Kolkata, Bilaspur, and Chennai Egmore are also being advocated for.
