Currently I am in Nzm-Mas Duronto Express having a PRS reserved ticket.
On the Neal preference side,instead of usual VG/NV it is mentioned as DB,and the caterer is refusing to give me meal.Whay is it? Please reply.

IRCTC predicts 80% confirmation chances in either case.

Sir actually right now I am in Mysore in Mysore-Dharwad Express to Hubli from where I will get a bus and reach Pune somehow and plan to reach Mumbai from Pune by a Shivneri in time for the Rajdhani gang..I am visiting Mumbai first time and do not want to sit idle for so long in Mumbai to wait for Duronto..
Taking this route as no option was left for me(SBC-Raj missed,MAS-cannot reach in time for Duru,Flights-Too expensive)..

You wont be able to make to Dera Bassi by 7:50 PM even by 12057 either,given the CDG station is in the outskirts of the main city and getting a transport to Dera Bassi from CDG station will be difficult too.My suggestion would be to take a Volvo from Delhi Kashmere Gate ISBT which departs at around 2 PM and request the crew to drop you at Dera Bassi which most probably they will agree to.It will be around 4 hours from Delhi to Dera Bassi in one of these buses.Opt the bus in given order of time taken:
Haryana Roadways>Himachal Roadways>Punbus/PRTC(It will be hardly a difference of 10-15 mints in travel time).Fare will be around Rs.570.This option will be the most...

No need to take a cab.It will be very expensive.If you are in Chandigarh,then board any bus coming towards Ambala and within half an hour you will be in Dera Bassi.Better if the bus is of Himachal Roadways.You can get the bus from Sector-17 ISBT or Sector-43 ISBT.But taking train in this case is not advised I guess.Thanks!!

It depends on you because in order to catch a Volvo you will have to come to Chandigarh as they don't stop anywhere en-route to Delhi and for train too you have to come to Chandigarh,so its your call.But i would prefer volvo.Just my take.Thanks!!

Sorry sir but I strongly disagree upon this..
IT never takes 8 hours from DEL to CHD anyhow,even not in the slowest ordinary buses..
At max Volvos take 5 hours to Chandigarh and normal buses take 5.5-6 hours..I myself am a regular traveller on this route thats why I am stating this..
Convenience of not changing transport works in favour of buses,else it is...

Waha se aap kisi bhi state roadways(except Himachal Roadways) ki ordinary bus pakad lena jo CHD side ja rahi ho..It will drop you..

Then sir I cant mention it anything more than sheer misfortune.I have travelled in all the Govt. run Volvos on this route and at max it took 5.5 hours in a Punbus Volvo and that too from Kashmere Gate to Sec-17 ISBT.(It was the 9:30 AM service).And yes Haryana Roadways Multi-Axle Volvos are the fastest on this route.Even there is an instance where I took an ordinary bus of Haryana Roadways and even after a tyre puncture,we made it to Chandigarh in 6:30 hours,so it was the worst case scenario.
Also buses coming from Gurgaon/IGI Airport take atleast 1/1.5 hours extra due to traffic commute within Delhi and unavailability of platform at ISBT Kashmere Gate during peak hours.So that might be the...
