I was just searching for the worse train in india from last 4 months but I couldn't find it (except passenger trains which have halts everywhere)
I am talking about a Mail/Express/Shatabdi/Rajdhani/Duronto/Superfast Trains.
In my opinion and research its the : Islampur ⇋ New Delhi Magadh Express

I feel that railways need to provide dustbins in all reserved coaches so that people does not throw the wastes just outside the window or in the coaches.
These bins could be cleaned when the train reaches a station where it has a long halt. What say?

Agree with you, South India in general has a very good bus connectivity..

What about Kerala then? Kerala too has a very good public transport. Infact in most of the major cities in Kerala the bus stand is usually in close vicinity with the railway station.

Those buses are almost extinct now sir. Now we have new tata and ashok leyland buses with doors at both ends. Those buses which you mentioned are now used mostly in remote areas

You could have tried the private buses.They have a two door entry.
