How can I give a petition for a particular stoppage for a train (SC-PNBE SF 12791 at ARA)? and where? Recently I have been shifted to SC and my hometown is ARA.
Surprise to see only two or three forum entries with this demand and also nobody cared to answer back.
I do not know why this train (12791/12792) is not given stoppage at Ara. Looking at time table, I can guess the reason may not be operational (surely not commercial!). I wonder if at all any systematic thinking goes into making such type of decisions by railway officials.

haan aapka sujhav bada achha hai...jab jarrorat padegi to dekha jayega...wiase RJPB raajdhani ka permanent stoppage Kulharia mein to hona hi chahiye :-) aur sampoorn kranti ka to koi jawab hi nahi...hamesh time pe NDLS aur Patna pahoonchti hai :-) :-)

Not at all agree about Ara. Ara Jn, is a very important place between Patna and Buxar and can not be ignored.
What is required is complete overhaul in operational aspects. What is the use of TT, if it is not followed? It is very unfair to put all the blame on general public

That is good idea....only problem is I am travelling with my wife and she is uncomfortable in Bus especially AC ones:-)

PS: We got the Koyana express from Dadar, only just in time. Get down at BCT and immediately caught a local to Dadar. We heard the announcement of Koyana Express as we were travelling from west to central platform FOB.

No but it was dot on time at BCT. It did stop for few minutes before Mahim (or it was matunga)...but we did not take the risk of walking on tracks.
