Travelled by this Train on 9 th June in Second seating (Reserved) from SA to MAS.
Punctuality is awesome, the speed is very good , cleanliness of the train is also above average,a lot of good stuff to eat during the journey, overall a very good inter city express, enjoyed the journey.

there were no people with out reservation atleast in my coach, may be very few.Absoluetly no problem at all.
true sir,I had to travel from SA-SLO with my mom,so had to break my journey SA-MAS,MAS-SLO i really loved the journey in Kovai, was expecting a better journey in HWH mail, which was quite opposite

Punctuality - is too good , but cleanliness is so bad(horrible) ,In my seat there were left over coffee and lots of other stuff, i had to clean all the stuff on my seat : ( I expected the train would be clean as it is the originating station, Imagine a train travelling for about almost 2 days and there is no proper cleaning.. I guess its due to RSA. MAIL and COROMANDEL are prestiguous trains its pain to see them like this.The toilets were stinking.

Sir , i just saw a general coach , where i bet you can not board the train,it so over crowded and yes people who can afford 350/- can pay or who are in urgent need of a travel are entering the reserved compartment, instead of the hell (general compartment). I do not blame such people as they have to travel at any cost, there was a guy whose father was in serious condition and had to travel, i myself shared my berth to him by allowing him to sit,but surely there is a limit for everything if you don't have way to go to restroom , its was very tough for my mom to go to rest room as there were many people piled up at restrooms blocking the way,upon questioning the TTE , he simply replied that there are many people on HUGE WL and he cannot ask every...

SLO requires such facilities, there is huge rush, people residing in kakinada,peddapuram,yelesawaram use SLO for boarding/alighting trains here,
with set up new reliance plant near to SLO there is huge demand.
Venkat , Things will be same in DVD, unless it comes under SCR or seperate zone.

I am travelling from yeshwantpur to kacheguda by Prashanti Nilayam Express/17604.
a) is this train right on time reaching kacheguda? I am having a connecting train to khammam from secunderabad by Krishna express(17406) departing from secunderabad at 6am. So i have one hour to reach to secunderabad.
b) How far is secunderabad station from kacheguda station?

Prashanthi nilayam express will come to 3 rd platform and MMTS arrives to platform #1 , you need to go to PF#1 where you have the MMTS ticket counter on the way left to the exit, There is no probs even with family, it is safe, well if your train is late , still you have train at regular intervals, but best way is to catch MMTS as rush will be less and more over you will directly land up in SECUNDRABAD station.
if your train is too late generally it is 30 min late, and if you miss this train you can catch SC-GNT at 7.40 at SC.
