I don't understand the big deal about Bombardier-Alstom coaches. Passengers simply want a *safe* and reasonably comfortable ride. Whenever we take a train, we should be aware what we are in for:
1. Total absence of medical facilities in the train and in the vast empty hinterlands
2. Dirty toilets, even in Tejas express which is regularly vandalized by few passengers
3. Delays owing...
more... to numerous signals, crossings, slack etc.
4. Awful food
5. Extremely crowded stations
6. Some amount of risk to life and limb due to robbers and mechanical causes
7. Nuisance elements like hijras and beggars in trains
8. Rats and other 4 legged co passengers
9. Etc etc.
So, I humbly request fellow bloggers to accept IR as it is and enjoy each journey for what it is
