Several other trains, including the Godda-New Delhi Humsafar Express, Godda-Patna Intercity, Godda-Ranchi Express, Tatanagar Express, Kaviguru Express, Banka Intercity, and Agartala Express, now run on this line. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Bhagulpur-Howrah Vande Bharat Express on Sunday, August 20th, 2023. The inauguration ceremony will be held at Bhagulpur station, with Rail Minister Ravneet Singh Bittu also attending. The train was successfully trial-run at a speed of 110 km/h from Bhagulpur to Dumka on Friday. The track speed on this section was previously only 15 km/h due to poor track conditions, but has been upgraded to 110 km/h following improvements.
