Minister Hardeep Singh Puri's request to Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw to increase the train's frequency and include a stop at Sonbhadra. The proposal, initially made in 2021, highlighted the difficulty of direct travel to Delhi from Sonbhadra, which borders four states. The Ranchi Rajdhani Express currently operates only once a week but is planned to increase to three times a week. Additionally, it will have stopovers at Sonbhadra (district headquarters) and Chopan Junction, simplifying Delhi travel for residents of Sonbhadra who previously had to travel to Varanasi or Mirzapur for Delhi-bound trains. The decision has been met with enthusiasm in the region.

Minister Hardeep Singh Puri ki request ke wajah se, jinhone Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw se train ki frequency badhane aur Sonbhadra station pe halt karwane ki maang ki thi. 2021 me diya gaya proposal yeh bataya tha ki Sonbhadra, jo chaar states ki border pe hai, country ka aisa eklauta district hai jahaan se direct Delhi jaana bahut mushkil tha. Ab Ranchi Rajdhani Express hafte me sirf ek baar chalti hai, lekin isko hafte me teen baar chalane ki plan hai. Iske saath hi, Sonbhadra (district headquarters) aur Chopan Junction pe bhi stop hoga. Ab Sonbhadra ke residents ke liye Delhi jaana bahut easy ho jaayega, pehle unhe Delhi jaane ke liye Varanasi ya Mirzapur jaana padta tha.
