Tiruchi Corporation to replace old sewer lines in Srirangam

Due to frequent sewage pipeline bursts on Gandhi Road in Srirangam, Tiruchi Corporation plans to replace the 22-year-old underground drainage (UGD) network. pipelines with cast iron pipes coated for corrosion resistance, extending their lifespan to over 25 years. This project, costing ₹10 crore, includes replacing approximately 550 meters of pipeline from the railway track to Tiruchi Chennai Trunk Road and 700 meters from Mambazhasalai to Chatiram Bus Stand. The new pipelines will have a diameter of 600 mm. Additionally, the Corporation will acquire a multipurpose super sucker machine for ₹3.7 crore to address blockages in the UGD network. This machine is expected to arrive next month.

Is problem ka hal karne ke liye, Corporation RCC pipelines ko cast iron pipes se replace karega, jisme corrosion resistance coating ki gayi hai, jiske wajah se unki life 25 saal se zyada hogi. Ye project, jiske liye ₹10 crore ka kharcha aayega, mein railway track se Tiruchi Chennai Trunk Road tak lagbhag 550 meter aur Mambazhasalai se Chatiram Bus Stand tak 700 meter pipeline ko replace karna shamil hai. Naye pipelines ki diameter 600 mm hogi. Iske alawa, Corporation ₹3.7 crore mein ek multipurpose super sucker machine bhi kharidega, jisse UGD network mein blockage ki problem ko hal kiya ja sakega. Ye machine aagle mahine aa jaane wali hai.
