He further stated that the DGMS not only saves the lives of thousands of workers annually but also protects millions of tons of minerals. He emphasized the increasing demand for minerals in the country, leading to increased production, and the DGMS's role in ensuring safety while enhancing production. He also reiterated concerns regarding the danger posed by the Dhanbad-Chandrapura rail line and informed that the DGMS is actively monitoring the situation in collaboration with various agencies like the Railway, BCCL, ISM IIT, and SIMFER, providing regular reports to the DGMS for taking timely precautionary measures. He further clarified that BCCL has been instructed to refrain from coal extraction near railway lines. The Chairman of Coal India, P.N. Prasad, praised the DGMS as a vital institution, highlighting its role in reducing accidents since its establishment in 1902. He stated that Coal India is producing coal more efficiently and safely compared to developed nations. While acknowledging the government's and DGMS's goal of zero accidents, he emphasized the significant reduction in accidents across Coal India subsidiaries. He also highlighted Coal India's commitment to promoting solar energy, aiming to achieve a production capacity of 3 gigawatts in the next three years. Currently, Coal India produces 1.30 gigawatts of solar energy, and plans to reach a production capacity of 5 gigawatts in the future. Additionally, Coal India has planted trees on 2200 hectares of land, implemented energy-saving measures like air conditioners and LED lights, and is engaged in skill development initiatives to provide employment opportunities to those displaced from coalfields. Coal India has partnered with the National Skill Development Institute and is establishing skill development centers at various units. Furthermore, Coal India is participating in the Digital India initiative, currently providing digital education to 12th-grade students in government schools, with plans to extend it to students up to the 8th grade in the future.

Unhone bataya ki DGMS har saal nahi sirf hazaarons mazdooron ki jaan bachaati hai, balki laakhon ton minerals ka bhi suraksha karti hai. Unhone desh mein minerals ki badhti demand ki baat ki, jiske karan production bhi bahut badh gaya hai, aur DGMS ka role production badhane ke saath saath safety ko priority dene ka hai. Unhone Dhanbad-Chandrapura rail line par maandraate khatre ko bhi ek baar fir se dohraaya aur bataya ki DGMS alag alag agencies jaise ki Railway, BCCL, ISM IIT, and SIMFER ke saath saath milkar khatre ko actively monitor kar rahi hai aur regularly reports DGMS ko bhej rahi hai. Unhone Coal India ki solar energy ko promote karne ki commitment bhi batayi, aur bataya ki aagale teen saalon mein 3 gigawatts solar energy production ka goal hai. Is waqt Coal India 1.30 gigawatts solar energy produce kar raha hai, aur future mein 5 gigawatts tak produce karne ka plan hai. Iske alawa Coal India ne 2200 hectares zameen par pedh lagaaye hain, air conditioners aur LED lights jaise energy saving measures bhi lagae hain, aur skill development initiatives bhi shuru kiye hain jiske through coalfields se displace hue logon ko employment diya jaayega. Coal India ne National Skill Development Institute ke saath partnership ki hai aur alag alag units mein skill development centers establish kar raha hai. Iske alawa Coal India Digital India initiative mein bhi bhag le raha hai, aur is waqt government schools mein 12th grade ke bachchon ko digital education de raha hai. Future mein yeh facility 8th grade tak ke bachchon ko bhi di jaayegi.
