I came across this information on a WhatsApp group today afternoon that actually as per schedule it was this train which was supposed to cross 12841 at the accident spot yesterday but since train was delayed at Kulem itself it did not. Inspite of LHB we saw severely high number of casualties if this was ICF Amaravati express I'm pretty afraid situation would have been pretty worse than this. Such a long distance and always full running train still running with dirty and old ICF rakes only because 2 pathetic zonal egoes between SCR and SWR in cancellation of KCG VSG slip. To hell with Goa Hyderabad connectivity safety of VSG SHM passengers is much much more important. It's high time now this pathetic crappy slip is cancelled and Amaravati is LHBfied.

Two train companies are fighting so this other train can't get new coaches. Screw them, people's safety is more important than winning some argument. They need to cancel that crappy train and upgrade to better coaches. One company is down, the other two need to catch up.
