Yaa but it is interesting to note that DHN gets to almost the same amount of passenger earnings as BWN with almost less than 3 times the passenger traffic (number of trains passing) through .
That is some thing that IR considers seriously , see for example DBG station in Bihar!
And it's income has always been consistently above 50 crores That is the most likely reason it got the A1 nod so earlier.

BWN wouldn't be so lucky likely because ER prefers ASN & DGR over BWN for providing halts. If BWN gets A1 status , it's priority would have to be increased!
